Job summary

Peraton is seeking an Engineering Operations Execution Manager in Herndon, VA to supervise a 30-person engineering team within the BASE DNA Execution pillar, delivering the Digital NAS Architecture across multiple domains including MBSE, architecture, and cloud.

The role involves workforce planning, performance management, and close collaboration with Delivery Program Managers, Technical Leads, and executive leadership to ensure delivery against commitments and staffing plans.

Qualifications

• Requires strong staff supervision and delivery accountability.
• Must lead performance feedback cycles across multiple sources.
• Experience producing workforce forecasts and utilization reports.

Responsibilities

• Supervise approximately 30 engineers across seven groups with operational authority.
• Conduct monthly performance check-ins and document outcomes for annual reviews.
• Produce rolling 90-day staffing forecasts and track utilization across the pillar.
• Own onboarding, PTO/coverage, and timesheet approval for the pillar.
• Publish operational reports to leadership and coordinate with program managers and technical leads.
