Job summary

Peraton is seeking an experienced Digital Architecture & Modeling Engineer to support the modernization of FAA's National Airspace System (NAS) under the BNATCS program. This role develops and maintains the Digital NAS Architecture (DNA)—an authoritative, model-based representation connecting mission needs, requirements, and infrastructure.

The position combines enterprise architecture, MBSE, and MA&S into a unified modeling discipline, using Cameo, UAF/SysML, and Teamwork Cloud to deliver

Qualifications

• Minimum 12 years with BS/BA; 10 years with MS/MA; 7 years with Ph.D.
• US Citizenship with ability to obtain Public Trust.
• Develop architecture through models using Cameo/MagicDraw and Teamwork Cloud.
• Deep knowledge of UAF, SysML, DoDAF, or comparable frameworks.
• Experience in system-of-systems architectures and traceability.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain the DNA architecture as an authoritative model.
• Apply UAF, SysML, DoDAF using Cameo and Teamwork Cloud to model NAS capabilities.
• Develop CONOPS and maintain model elements as authoritative content.
• Generate architecture views, CONOPS content, interfaces, and reports from the model.
• Establish model governance and reuse across teams and contractors.
