Job summary

Old-Castle-Building-Envelop is seeking a Production Supervisor – Continuous Improvement (Engineering Focus) to lead frontline teams in CRL's metal fabrication operations. This role emphasizes engineering analysis, structured problem solving, and Lean practices to boost throughput, reduce waste, and improve safety and quality across the value stream.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering or related technical discipline.
• 3+ years of manufacturing, fabrication, machining, or continuous improvement experience.
• Experience leading teams and driving productivity, quality, waste reduction, and process optimization.
• Strong knowledge of Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, and data-driven decision making.

Responsibilities

• Supervise production teams across assigned manufacturing areas, meeting safety, quality, productivity, labor utilization, and performance targets.
• Enforce safety policies, PPE requirements, lockout/tagout, and maintain a safe, organized work environment.
• Lead continuous improvement initiatives using Lean tools (5 Whys, Fishbone, DMAIC, PDCA, 8D) to reduce waste and improve throughput.
• Conduct time studies, capacity analysis, bottleneck ID, root cause investigations, and develop standard work and visuals.
• Collaborate with Engineering, Quality, and Maintenance to improve equipment performance and material flow.
• Monitor KPIs and create dashboards to support data-driven decisions; manage projects end-to-end.
• Lead improvement and capital projects from concept to implementation with cross-functional teams.
