Job summary

Valmet Beloit is seeking an IPR Specialist to support engineering documentation and records activities, including drawing and document requests, parts identification, and electronic catalogs. You will maintain accurate technical information using Valmet systems and provide timely responses to internal and external requests.

The role requires attention to detail, experience with document management, and the ability to identify parts and drawings.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 3–4 years in technical documentation, document control, or related area.
• Experience with electronic document retrieval/management systems.
• Ability to identify and work with engineering drawings and technical docs.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Process and fulfill requests for drawings and documentation.
• Identify parts and drawings using Valmet systems.
• Prepare customer, engineering, and installation documentation.
• Maintain records of documents, scanned and stored.
• Create/update electronic parts catalogs and BOMs.
• Review published docs for accuracy and suitability.
• Generate and review drawings prepared by others.
• Operate printers, plotters, scanners and related equipment.
• Support performance tracking and department records.
• Participate in team documentation projects as needed.
