Job summary

PLEXSYS Interface Products, Inc. is seeking a Director of Engineering to lead prototyping and solution support, serving as the technical interface to BD and Customer Ops.

You will own BoEs, estimates, technical volumes, and value propositions while coordinating with the VP of Product Development on direction and priorities. The role requires managing small teams to deliver prototypes, capture feedback, and validate solution feasibility, with travel as needed to support customers and on-site

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent; Master’s degree or MBA preferred.
• Minimum of eight years of software development experience.
• Minimum of four years of team management experience.

Responsibilities

• Lead prototyping projects to support customer discovery, early validation, and demos.
• Provide input to product roadmap alignment with customer requirements.
• Provide technical support for BoEs, estimates, technical volumes, and value propositions.
• Coordinate budgeting with Production Leadership for resource planning and shared infrastructure.
• Develop performance standards for direct reports and evaluate performance.
