Job summary

Entegris is seeking a Lead Project Engineer to join our New Product Development team at the Decatur, TX facility. This role will develop new processes, products, and innovations for growth with customers through ideation, design, development, and engineering, and will oversee prototype manufacture and testing.

Qualifications

• BS in Mechanical Engineering, chemical engineering, or other similar degree. Minimum 3 years experience. MS in similar degree will be acceptable along with experience.
• Applications knowledge/experience in high-tech industry such as semiconductor, aerospace, etc
• Proven team player skills with ability to build and maintain internal and external relationships
• Strong communication organizational, interpersonal, problem solving and analytical skills
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite including MS Project
• Experience with DOE methodologies/tools desirable
• Proficient with Stage/Gated processes for managing New Product Introductions desirable
• Experience with Solidworks desirable
• Materials understanding desirable
• FEA modeling experience desirable

Responsibilities

• Transform inputs from our customers into models and prototypes and manage the manufacture of these prototypes.
• Identifies IP opportunities and works with the IP committee to evaluate technologies.
• Interacts with all levels of corporate personnel; develops broad internal and external networks.
• Creates project plans and tracks progress for large projects; manages budgets and spending.
• Collaborates across departments to solve technology, schedule, cost issues and communicates progress.
