Job summary

Code Metal is seeking a Solutions Engineer to bridge engineering, prototyping, and customer growth. You will turn opportunities into working technical systems, validating solutions through PoCs, and guiding early deployment toward production use.

You will own hands-on exploration across domains, prototype unfamiliar approaches, and translate learnings into concrete, scalable solutions for customers and internal teams.

Qualifications

• Strong background in CS or related technical field.
• Ability to learn unfamiliar domains quickly and prototype.
• Analytical thinking and hands-on prototyping skills.
• Ability to debug across software and hardware boundaries.
• Excellent written and verbal communication to explain results.
• Self-starter who can operate independently in fast-moving environments.
• Willingness to travel occasionally (10–20%).

Responsibilities

• Turn scoped opportunities into working technical solutions demonstrating Code Metal's tech.
• Collaborate with customer engineers to translate needs into executable plans.
• Prototype, integrate, and feasibility-test new approaches.
• Build and lead proofs of concept with cross-functional teams.
• Optimize and validate PoCs for latency, throughput, and power.
• Debug across CPU/GPU/FPGA and hardware/software boundaries.
• Capture reusable patterns and demos from PoCs for faster future work.
• Assist early integration and validation with Forward Deployed Engineers.
• Share learnings with product, engineering, and growth teams.
