Job summary

PLEXSYS Interface Products, Inc. in Camas, WA seeks a Director of Engineering to lead prototyping and solution support as the technical interface to BD and Customer Ops.

You will own BoEs, estimates, technical volumes, value propositions, and coordinate with the VP of Product Development on direction and priorities. You will manage small teams to deliver prototypes, capture feedback, and validate feasibility while aligning the roadmap with customer requirements and supporting growth initiatives.

Qualifications

• Eight+ years of software development experience.
• Four+ years of team management experience.
• Excellent written and oral communication for non-technical audiences.
• Ability to travel periodically to meet with customers.

Responsibilities

• Leads prototyping projects to support customer discovery, early validation, and demos.
• Provides input to product roadmap aligned with customer requirements.
• Writes and reviews BoEs, estimates, technical volumes, and value propositions.
• Coordinates budgeting with production leadership for resources.
• Develops performance standards and evaluates direct reports.
• Attends conferences and tradeshow events to present solutions and papers.
• Leads technical reviews and cross-functional proposals with FE/BE teams.
• Drives exploration of solution technologies supporting growth initiatives.
