Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Architecture, Construction Management or related field; 2 years of responsible-level hospital/health care experience.
• Associate’s Degree with 4 years of responsible-level experience; or High school diploma with 6 years of experience.
• Valid NYSED Professional Engineer or Architect license, or a related Master’s Degree can substitute for 1 year of experience.

Responsibilities

• Directs coordination and supervision of maintenance operations, construction contracts, and capital projects.
• Plans and reviews programs to improve productivity and accountability of trade staff.
• Prepares reports and budgets; supports senior management with analyses and recommendations.
• Ensures compliance with TJC, CMS, EPA, ADA, DEP, OSHA and related regulations.
• Represents the Director in meetings with City, State, and Federal agencies when needed.
