Job summary

Searchmasters Inc is seeking a senior engineering leader to oversee design, sustaining, and testing functions, ensuring technical execution and engineering-driven business results. You will build a scalable organization, serve as both builder and operator, and support high-rate production programs and revenue growth initiatives.

You will manage 5 direct reports across design, sustaining engineering, and proposals, allocating ~50% to Design-to-Spec proposals, 25% to sustaining engineering, and

Qualifications

• BS in Engineering (required).
• Strong background in product design involving motors, dampers, or actuators.
• Experience within Aerospace, Defense, or Space industries; Oil & Gas backgrounds considered.

Responsibilities

• Lead design, sustaining, and testing functions with accountability for execution and business results.
• Build and operate, driving improvements and establishing a scalable engineering organization.
• Support high-rate production programs and recurring revenue growth initiatives.
• Manage a team of 5 direct reports overseeing design, sustaining engineering, and proposal work.
• Allocate ~50% of efforts to Design-to-Spec proposals, 25% to sustaining engineering, 25% to electronic design activities.
