Job summary

McKim & Creed, Inc. in Raleigh, NC, is seeking an Engineering Designer-Plumbing to provide technical and design services for mechanical, plumbing and fire protection projects within a multi-discipline team.

You will produce construction drawings and specifications, manage tasks to budget and schedule, and collaborate with the group and project managers. Candidates should have at least 1 year of relevant experience (Revit), a related degree, strong communication skills, and the ability to survey

Qualifications

• At least 1 year of similar work experience, including Revit.
• Vocational certificate or two-year degree in Engineering or related field.
• Good technical and communication skills required.
• Willing to climb ladders and perform field survey duties.

Responsibilities

• Provide mechanical, plumbing and fire protection design services and develop construction drawings for institutional, commercial and industrial facilities.
• Complete design tasks within budget and on schedule and coordinate with Group Manager, Project Manager, Sr. Mechanical Engineer and the design team.
