Job summary

Newcomb & Boyd, LLP in Raleigh-Durham, North Carolina seeks a Plumbing Engineer I to design complex plumbing systems and prepare 2D/3D construction documents using Revit. This role covers domestic water, sanitary, waste/vent, fuel, medical gas, and laboratory gas systems, plus LEED documentation.

You will collaborate with in-house disciplines and owners, contribute to project delivery, and grow toward a senior engineer role.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering or equivalent.
• 1-5 years of plumbing consulting experience preferred.
• Strong communication and team collaboration skills.

Responsibilities

• Support design of complex plumbing systems.
• Prepare 2D/3D construction documents using Revit.
• Design domestic water, sanitary, waste and vent, fuel, medical gas, and lab gas systems.
• Prepare documents and calculations for LEED certification.
• Coordinate design with in-house disciplines, architects, and owners.
• Plan project production process.
