Job summary

McKim & Creed, Inc. is seeking a CAD Designer, Water/Wastewater in Raleigh to support the Water Business Unit with CAD/BIM tasks and construction document preparation.

The role emphasizes utility design knowledge and the ability to learn new design technologies. The candidate should have a Civil AEC background, with 3–5 years in water/wastewater, and strong skills in Autodesk software, MS Office, Bluebeam, and Acrobat.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent Civil AEC career experience.
• 3–5 years’ experience in Civil infrastructure (Water/Wastewater) preferred.
• Proficiency with Autodesk suite: Revit, AutoCAD, Civil 3D.

Responsibilities

• Engage with project leads and assist project teams with design and drafting.
• Support projects in development and maintenance of content.
• Maintain awareness of current and future project needs.
• Participate in evaluation and testing of new design technologies and workflows.
• Stay informed of the latest industry trends in design technology.
