FirstEnergy Corp. is seeking an experienced engineer to lead, mentor, and oversee engineering services work in Morgantown, WV. You will create SAP notifications, manage work requests, and ensure accurate billing while applying tariff criteria for various service scenarios.

The role requires strong technical knowledge, stakeholder communication, and the ability to drive continuous improvement. PE is a plus, with opportunities to advance within the organization.

Qualifications

• ABET-accredited engineering degree and 5+ years of relevant work experience.

Responsibilities

• Create notifications in SAP and assign work requests to Distribution Designers.
• Assist with billing for all work requests with Business Services.
• Apply Tariff criteria for billable work including new premises, upgrades, and relocations.
• Create and process Line Extension Contracts for various work.
• Review PSC complaints related to line extension and billing policies.
• Report progress to the Manager, Engineering Services and advise on issues affecting completion.
• Analyze complex issues and develop actionable recommendations.
• Support Work Management on design-related questions and company priorities.
• Lead and coach team members to improve performance and communication.
