Job summary

HNTB is seeking a seasoned design leader to drive complex infrastructure design across offices. You will mentor staff, coordinate with office leaders, and uphold the firm’s high standards for quality, schedule, and client satisfaction.

The role requires a Bachelor’s in Architecture/Engineering/Planning and at least 15 years of experience in progressively responsible positions, with a strong track record in major project design and leadership.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Architecture, Engineering, or Planning and 15 years of progressive responsibility experience, ideally with a large multi-discipline firm.
• 10 years’ experience in design of complex projects.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate with Office Design Leaders to consistently deliver high-quality design products that meet the 4 for 4 standards (quality, on time, on budget, client satisfaction).
• Lead regular design reviews across offices to ensure project design performance.
• Develop and implement National Design Committee activities.
• Represent design with strategic planning and pursue opportunities across markets.
• Assist Office Leaders in hiring, supervising, and developing design staff.
• Contribute to pursuit strategies across all market sectors and perform other duties as assigned.
