Job summary

Tektronix, a Ralliant Corporation company, seeks an Engineering Services Manager in Beaverton, OR to lead a multi-disciplinary hardware engineering team and oversee external partners. You will drive hardware development from concept to production, optimize capacity, and align with budgets and roadmaps.

You will mentor engineers, manage third-party relationships, and implement governance to deliver high-quality, on-time results while scaling capabilities to meet evolving business needs.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or related technical field.
• Demonstrated success delivering hardware products from concept through production.
• At least 2 years leading multi-disciplined teams.
• Strong project management and resource planning skills.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.
• International and domestic travel required up to 25% of the time.

Responsibilities

• Lead the execution of small- and medium-sized hardware development projects from concept through production release, delivering predictable results for cost, schedule, quality, and performance.
• Provide engineering leadership across multiple concurrent projects using standardized development processes and governance.
• Develop and manage a flexible engineering delivery model with internal talent and strategic partners to match business priorities and roadmaps.
• Manage third-party engineering relationships ensuring high-quality deliverables and IP protection.
• Continuously evaluate capacity, allocation, and priorities to maximize value and agility.
• Select, onboard, and manage third-party contractors and development partners; monitor performance and budgets.
• Lead cross-functional engineering teams and remove barriers to enable timely project execution; establish PCB layout priorities and career development.
