Job summary

Tektronix, an operating company of Ralliant, is seeking a Staff Hardware Engineer to design embedded hardware platforms and lead complex board-level work. The role focuses on host processors running Linux or Windows, with FPGA fabric, memory subsystems, and power sequencing.

You will collaborate with cross-functional teams, perform design reviews, and develop clear documentation while supporting manufacturing and test. Mentoring early-career engineers is encouraged.

Qualifications

• Embedded hardware design experience for host processors running Linux/Windows
• Experience with Intel/ARM platforms and FPGA fabric
• Multilayer circuit boards design and verification

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and modify embedded hardware platforms with Linux/Windows host processors
• Create and maintain hardware designs, schematics, and documentation
• Support layout activities and ensure manufacturability and reliability
• Perform SI/PI analysis and design reviews to reduce project risk
• Provide technical support to manufacturing and engineering teams
• Develop technical documentation and design notes
• Mentor junior engineers and drive process improvements
