Job summary

Atlas Copco Group Co.,Ltd in Saugerties, NY seeks an Engineering Clerk to review blueprints, manage part numbers, BOMs, and documentation for manufacturing.

You will work with Engineering, Program Management, and Supply Chain to update ERP, maintain data integrity, and support ECO processes. Proficiency in AutoCAD/SolidWorks and MS Office is required. On-site role with potential hybrid based on performance.

Qualifications

• A.A. Degree or equivalent experience is required or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• At least two years’ experience as an administrator or clerk, ideally in a technical, engineering or manufacturing environment.
• Previous drafting/design or related work experience is required.
• Previous AutoCAD and/or Solidworks experience is required.
• Knowledge of drafting and/or design, fundamental concepts, practices, and procedures.
• Ability to read and understand layouts, drawings, and designs.
• Analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects.
• Good verbal and written communication skills.
• Good MS Office, Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint skills.
• Beginning to Intermediate AutoCAD and/or Solidworks skills in 2D and 3D.

Responsibilities

• Update ERP system with new part numbers, job BOMs and information to move design into manufacturing.
• Implement changes to data systems and maintain data system integrity.
• Compare data with source documents or re-enter data to detect errors.
• Create print packages for production.
• Review drawings to verify adherence to standards.
• Assist engineering activities such as design, test, and assembly of prototype or test equipment.
• Oversee ECO process to assist engineering team with timely completion of changes.
• Participate in continuous improvement activities within Engineering and other teams.
• Work independently with moderate supervision.
• Other duties as assigned.
