Merck is seeking an Area Control Leader for Global Estimating Solutions within Project Business Services. This associate director role drives cost and schedule control across a portfolio of projects, deploying Target Value Delivery, Last Planner Production Planning & Control, and AI-enabled methods to improve performance and value.

You will establish control plans, monitor cost reporting (EVM, budgeting, forecasting), develop staffing plans, and lead change/risk management while interfacing with

Qualifications

• 10+ years of experience in project control or related field.
• Strong leadership, interpersonal, and communication skills with change management experience.
• Working knowledge of SAP or similar financial systems.
• Proficiency in scheduling and risk analysis software (Primavera P6, Primavera Risk Analysis, MS Project).
• Willingness to travel across the Americas up to 25%.

Responsabilités

• Establish and implement Project Control execution plans.
• Develop and maintain monthly project cost reports including budgeting, forecasting, earned value, and progress reporting.
• Support implementation of Target Value Delivery.
• Develop and maintain project spending plans.
• Coordinate with AE and CM project control for scheduling, control and reporting needs.
• Collaborate with internal SMEs on estimating and strategic scheduling for transition from planning to execution.
• Schedule development, maintenance, and analysis using CPM and Last Planner System.
• Develop and monitor project staffing plans for new and ongoing projects.
• Implement Change Management and Risk Management processes.
• Support project financial close-out requirements including asset definition and valuation.
