Job summary

Merck & Co., Inc. in Delaware is seeking a Director of Project Control in Global Engineering Solutions to lead cost and schedule management for large programs, from planning through Start-up and Licensure.

You will drive standard processes, oversee monthly cost reports, risk management and change control while mentoring a multidisciplinary team and coordinating with AE & CM partners. Hybrid work across US locations, eligible for annual bonus and long-term incentives, with a comprehensive

Qualifications

Bachelor of Science in Engineering or relevant discipline.
15+ years of project control/delivery experience in pharma.
Experience from FEL through Start-up and Licensure.
Knowledge of SAP, Primavera and MS Project.
Willing to travel across the Americas up to 25%.

Responsibilities

Establish and implement project control procedures and execution plans.
Deliver Monthly Project Cost Reports including budgeting, forecasting, earned value, progress, changes.
Support Target Value Delivery and development of spending plans.
Interface with AE/CM teams to ensure compliant reporting.
Lead multidisciplinary staff and manage risk and change.
