Job summary

B&G Foods Inc. is seeking an Engineering Co-op for Crisco to support our Cincinnati facility. This role focuses on gaining hands-on experience in packaging and processing operations while contributing to safety, quality and efficiency improvements.

The position requires pursuit of an engineering degree with a minimum GPA of 3.0, willingness to relocate, and availability for multiple rotations. Candidates must be able to work in both office and plant settings and comply with safety procedures.

Qualifications

• Pursuing an Engineering Degree required with GPA minimum of 3.0.
• Must be able to work without sponsorship.
• Preferable that student is available for multiple rotations.
• Must relocate to/reporting location for duration of assignment.
• Able to work in office and plant environments and follow safety procedures.

Responsibilities

• Support operations to meet safety, quality and reliability metrics.
• Commissioning, qualification and verification of new equipment.
• Sustainability improvements (waste reduction, energy savings).
• Document new and modified standard operating procedures.
• Communicate results and teaching best practices to operators.
• Problem analysis and solving for department opportunities.
• Participate in experimental orders for new initiatives.
• Present improvement findings to plant leadership.
