Job summary

B&G Foods is offering an Engineering Co-op for Spring 2027 and Summer 2027 in Cincinnati, OH. You will join the operations team to support safety, quality, and reliability metrics while gaining hands-on experience with new equipment commissioning and process improvements.

You will document SOPs, analyze issues, and present findings to plant leadership. The role requires pursuing an engineering degree with a minimum 3.0 GPA and willingness to relocate for the assignment, on-site at the reporting

Qualifications

• Pursuing an Engineering Degree is required with GPA min 3.0.
• Degree preferences include Mechanical, Electrical, Chemical, Industrial and Packaging Eng.
• Must be able to relocate and work on-site at reporting location for duration.

Responsibilities

• Support operations to meet safety, quality and reliability metrics.
• Assist in commissioning, qualification and verification of new equipment.
• Participate in sustainability improvements (waste reduction, energy savings).
• Document and update standard operating procedures.
• Communicate results and best practices to operators and plant leadership.
• Analyze problems and contribute to solution development for department opportunities.
• Assist in experimental orders for new initiatives and present findings.
