Job summary

Duke Energy in the United States is seeking engineering co-ops for 2027 across multiple locations, including Indiana. You will join Transmission, Distribution, PMC, EH&S, RRE, Grid Planning Studies teams and rotate through placements to gain hands-on experience in design, analysis, and project execution.

Eligible students are pursuing ABET-accredited Bachelor's or Master's degrees in Mechanical, Civil, Electrical, Chemical, or Industrial & Systems Engineering, with a GPA of 2.75+ and graduation

Qualifications

• Enrolled in ABET-accredited Bachelor's or Master's degree in Mechanical, Civil, Electrical, Chemical, or Industrial & Systems Engineering.
• Must not graduate before May 2027.
• Cumulative GPA of 2.75 or higher.

Responsibilities

• Assist staff engineers across Transmission, Distribution, PMC, EH&S, RRE, and Grid Planning during co-op sessions.
• Contribute to design, analysis, and construction activities in a real-world grid environment.
• Participate in rotations and gain exposure to multiple engineering disciplines.

Education

ABET-accredited Bachelor's degree in Engineering

ABET-accredited Master's degree in Engineering

GPA 2.75+

Graduation after May 2027
