Job summary

GE Appliances, a Haier company, invites students to join the Spring 2027 Engineering Co-op in Lafayette, GA. You’ll imagine, design, build, and learn by working on challenging projects under a mentor, rotating through key areas such as New Product Introduction and Modeling and Simulation.

You'll gain hands-on experience with bright minds in the business, while receiving housing and relocation assistance if eligible.

Qualifications

• Currently enrolled in an accredited university pursuing a bachelor’s degree or higher in Engineering (Mechanical or Electrical).
• Graduation date December 2027 or later.
• GPA ≥3.0 (out of 4.0).
• Legal authorization to work in the United States.

Responsibilities

• Work with your mentor to accomplish established goals that support the business and offer learning opportunity.
• Complete innovative, technical assignments in areas such as New Product Introduction, Product Improvement, Modeling and Simulation, Advanced Development, Sourced Products, Software Development.
• Attend development and training sessions to enhance your technical knowledge and professional growth.
• Take part in networking and community volunteer projects.
• Optional events will be available both in and out of work.
