Job summary

GE Appliances, a Haier company, invites students to join the Spring 2027 Software Engineering Co-op in Louisville, KY. The program runs from January 11, 2027 to May 7, 2027 and offers housing/relocation assistance for eligible students.

Participants will work with mentors, complete diverse technical assignments, and attend training sessions to build engineering skills while contributing to innovative projects.

Qualifications

• Currently enrolled in an accredited university pursuing a bachelor's degree in Engineering (Computer or Software) with 2027 or later graduation date.
• Cumulative GPA >= 3.0.
• Legal authorization to work in the country/region where the business is hiring is required.
• Two or more co-op rotations preferred before graduation.

Responsibilities

• Work with mentor to accomplish established goals that support the business and offer learning opportunity.
• Complete technical assignments in areas such as New Product Introduction, Product Improvement, Modeling and Simulation, Advanced Development, Sourced Products, Software Development, or FirstBuild.
• Attend development and training sessions to enhance your technical knowledge and professional development.
• Take part in networking and community volunteer projects.
• Optional events will be available both in and out of work, including lunches and weekend activities.
