Job summary

GE Appliances, a Haier company, invites motivated engineering students to join the Spring 2027 Co-op program in Lafayette, GA. You will rotate through projects in design, development and manufacturing, mentored to set goals and achieve hands-on impact while balancing academics.

You will gain exposure to New Product Introduction, product improvement, and software development, with housing and relocation assistance for eligible students.

Qualifications

• Enrollment in an accredited university pursuing a bachelor's degree in Engineering (Mechanical or Electrical).
• Graduation date December 2027 or later.
• GPA at least 3.0 on a 4.0 scale.
• Legal authorization to work in the U.S. without future visa sponsorship.

Responsibilities

• Work with your mentor to accomplish established goals that support the business and provide learning opportunities.
• Complete technical assignments in areas such as New Product Introduction, Product Improvement, Modeling and Simulation, Advanced Development, Sourced Products, Software Development.
• Attend development and training sessions to enhance technical knowledge and professional growth.
• Participate in networking and community volunteer projects.
• Optional events include lunches, weekend activities, sports, and cookouts.
