Job summary

Duke Energy offers a robust co-op program spanning Transmission, Distribution, Project Management & Construction (PMC), Environmental Health and Safety (EH&S), Regulated & Renewable Energy (RRE), and Grid Planning Studies. Co-ops will collaborate with staff engineers on design, analysis and project development across multiple locations in the Carolinas, Midwest and Florida.

Qualifications

• Must be enrolled in ABET-accredited Bachelor's or Master's in Mechanical, Civil, Chemical, Electrical, Industrial & Systems Engineering
• Must not graduate prior to May 2027
• Cumulative college GPA of 2.75 or higher

Responsibilities

• Assist with design, assessment and analysis of transmission facilities.
• Collaborate with staff engineers to ensure reliability of equipment.
• Support grid planning, project management and construction activities.
