Bridgestone Americas Technology Center in Akron, OH offers an excellent learning environment for engineering and science Co-Ops. Co-Op students participate in hands-on tasks across Mechanical, Polymer, Mechatronics and Chemical Engineering with rotating periods of 4.5 months each.

Participants work on meaningful projects, develop practical skills, and integrate classroom learning with real-world engineering challenges in a supportive, global company environment.

Competenze

• Enrollment in a Co-Op academic program in Chemical, Mechanical, or Polymer Engineering.
• GPA of 3.0 or higher.

Mansioni

• Undertakes and successfully completes simple or basic project/product development tasks to include writing/verifying specifications, maintaining documentation, data analysis, testing processes, equipment, raw materials and product validation.
• May assist in inventing/creating concepts and designs/approaches for new products/processes/test methods.
• Designs and coordinates engineering tests and experiments.
• Prepares standard reports/documentation to communicate results to technical community.
• Completes basic tasks on engineering documentation/review.
• Identifies areas for improvement and suggests solutions.
