Johnson & Johnson invites applications for an Engineering Development Co-Op in San Lorenzo, Puerto Rico, January to December 2027. This full-time, 40-hour-per-week internship offers hands-on engineering experience within MedTech manufacturing settings.

Qualifications

Completion of undergraduate freshman year is required.
Currently pursuing a bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or related field.
Have a GPA of 2.8 or higher.
Familiarity with CAD software (SolidWorks/AutoCAD) preferred.

Responsibilities

Assist engineers with design, prototyping, testing, validation, and troubleshooting.
Support CAD modeling and implement simple design updates under guidance.
Conduct experiments, collect data, and summarize results for teams.
Prepare technical docs, drawings, and test reports.
Support manufacturing and shop floor activities as needed.
Participate in team meetings and present project progress.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams on improvement projects.
