Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Strong computer skills with MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word).
• Good verbal and written communication skills.
• Good mathematical skills; able to reason and calculate distances and equations.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings.
• Programming ability in Visual Basic or MS VBA is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Learn and understand basic concepts of engineering class chain to build experience.
• Create components and assemblies using 3-D solid modeling programs (e.g., SolidEdge).
• Create and revise engineering drawings, manufacturing plans, and related documentation.
• Design, procure, and fabricate simple tooling and fixtures.
• Coordinate engineering tests and report results for the intended audience.
• Complete basic tasks on engineering documentation.
• Identify improvement areas and submit ideas.
