Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Strong knowledge of MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word).
• Good verbal and written communication skills.
• Good mathematical skills; able to reason and calculate distances and equations.
• Ability to read engineering drawings and measure with calipers, micrometers, etc.
• Programming ability in Visual Basic or MS VBA (preferred).

Responsibilities

• Learn and understand basic concepts of engineering class chain to build experience for rotations.
• Create components and assemblies using 3-D solid modeling programs (e.g., SolidEdge).
• Create and revise engineering drawings, manufacturing plans, and related product documents.
• Design, procure, and fabricate simple tooling and fixtures.
• Design and coordinate engineering tests and report results for the audience.
• Complete basic tasks on engineering documentation.
• Identify areas for improvement, propose solutions, and submit idea records.
• Support other tasks and projects as assigned.
