Job summary

U.S. Tsubaki Power Transmission, LLC in Sandusky, OH seeks an entry-level engineer-in-training to learn core concepts and support engineering tasks. You will work with CAD tools, draft drawings, and assist with manufacturing plans while gaining hands-on experience.

You will develop skills in SolidEdge, learn to create and revise documentation, and contribute to tests and reports, while refining Excel and presentation abilities in a team environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Basic computer skills and MS Office proficiency.
• Good verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to read engineering drawings and measure with calipers/micrometers.
• Programming in Visual Basic or MS VBA preferred.

Responsibilities

• Learn and understand basic concepts of engineering class chain for rotations.
• Create components and assemblies using 3-D solid modeling (e.g., SolidEdge).
• Create and revise engineering drawings, manufacturing plans, and documentation.
• Design and fabricate simple tooling and fixtures.
• Coordinate engineering tests and report results for audience.
• Identify improvement areas and submit idea records.
• Perform other tasks as assigned.
