Pioneer Cladding and Glazing Systems, Inc. in Mason, OH, is seeking an Engineering Co-Op to support the engineering team by creating and maintaining shop and fabrication drawings using CAD software. This role is designed for individuals eager to grow their technical skills and contribute to the team.

You will learn to interpret drawings, improve CAD proficiency, and develop drawings for architectural and structural projects while supporting project schedules and shop personnel.

Qualifications

• Basic knowledge of architectural and structural drawings.
• Familiarity with engineering and architectural principles, including concrete and steel structures.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to analyze issues and implement effective solutions.
• Clear communication of technical concepts and ability to manage conflict constructively.

Responsibilities

• Learn to interpret architectural and structural drawings to extract relevant information.
• Continuously improve proficiency in CAD software.
• Generate CAD drawings from sketches, blueprints, or digital files.
• Modify drawings based on feedback from the team.
• Follow project schedules and attend status meetings.
• Provide support to the Engineering Team and shop personnel.
