Job summary

RJN Group in Downers Grove, IL is seeking a seasoned Client Manager to lead client engagement and business development in wastewater, water, and stormwater markets across Chicagoland and the North Central Midwest. This role will collaborate with the Downers Grove office, technical practice leaders, and Marketing, operating in a hybrid capacity at headquarters.

You will build relationships with public infrastructure clients, develop pursuit plans, and present technical proposals while traveling

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in engineering or business required.
• PE licensure is a plus; consultative selling experience valued.
• Strong communication skills and ability to translate technical content for varied audiences.

Responsibilities

• Develop strategic sales and market development plans with regional leadership.
• Drive growth, expand market presence, and support corporate objectives.
• Lead client and market development within an assigned territory.
• Identify and advance new opportunities through CRM and pursuits.
• Develop client engagement strategies and pursuit plans for public infrastructure clients.
• Lead and submit technical proposals and qualifications packages.
• Collaborate with Project Managers, technical specialists, and marketing teams.
• Represent RJN at regional and national conferences and industry events.
