Job summary
Acuity Inc. is seeking an Engineering Changes Engineer to lead planning, evaluation, and implementation of Engineering Changes (ECNs/ECOs) across U.S. manufacturing sites.
You will partner with Engineering, Operations, Quality, and Supply Chain to ensure changes are executed on time with minimal impact on quality and cost. You will manage ECOs/ECNs, track performance, and drive continuous improvement of change management processes, coordinating cross‑functional reviews to support NPI and product
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree required in engineering or related field.
- 3–5 years experience in engineering change management.
- Experience with PLM, BOM management.
- Knowledge of Oracle or similar ERP systems.
- Strong problem-solving and stakeholder management.
- Experience with NPI, product transfers, and end-of-life transitions.
Responsibilities
- Lead the evaluation, planning, coordination, and implementation of Engineering Changes across U.S. manufacturing sites.
- Assess the impact of engineering changes on inventory, materials, production schedules, quality, cost, and customer commitments, and develop mitigation plans.
- Lead cross-functional reviews with Engineering, Manufacturing, Supply Chain, Quality, Planning, and Operations teams.
- Monitor implementation progress, identify risks and conflicts, and drive resolution activities.
- Manage ECOs and ECNs within Acuity systems such as Oracle or Windchill.
- Develop metrics, track performance, and identify process improvement opportunities.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance change management processes.
