Stadler Rail AG is seeking an Engineering Change Specialist to evaluate and coordinate post-release changes. You will analyze change notices, assess impact on production, procurement, inventory, and suppliers, and drive controlled implementation across the organization.

The role emphasizes thorough communication, documentation, and collaboration with multiple functions to minimize disruption, inventory exposure, and costs while maintaining quality and on-time delivery.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field.
• 0-2 years in manufacturing, production control, procurement, or engineering support.
• Strong understanding of engineering drawings and revisions.
• Excellent organizational and communication skills to explain changes to non-technical teams.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and ERP/PLM software.
• Detail-oriented with strong follow-up and tracking abilities.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate engineering change notifications and assess impact on production, procurement, inventory, and suppliers.
• Coordinate implementation plans, cutover points, and effective dates for revisions.
• Update manufacturing instructions, work orders, and assembly processes to align with new drawings.
• Collaborate with Procurement to revise POs and supplier communications.
• Maintain revision history and track implementation status; escalate risks when needed.
• Participate in cross-functional change review meetings and provide feasibility recommendations.
