Job summary

Trane Technologies in Wisconsin is seeking an Engineering Change Coordinator (ECC) to manage and implement engineering changes that ensure production continuity and product data integrity. You will work with engineering, quality, production, suppliers, and supply chain teams to align scope, timing, and readiness.

The role requires meticulous data maintenance, cross‑functional collaboration, and leadership in Phase‑In/Phase‑Out projects, with a focus on reducing obsolescence and improving data

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree preferred; relevant experience may substitute.
• 3+ years in manufacturing, supply chain, materials management, or engineering.
• Strong understanding of engineering change processes and documentation.
• Experience with PLM, ERP, and inventory control systems.
• Ability to manage multiple complex changes simultaneously.
• Excellent written and verbal communication; able to lead cross‑functional meetings.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage the engineering change process from initiation to implementation.
• Review and analyze ECRs/ECOs for completeness and accuracy.
• Ensure timely communication of changes to stakeholders.
• Maintain records of engineering changes and ensure changes realized.
• Enrich and maintain product data; collaborate with cross‑functional teams.
• Lead Phase-In / Phase-Out to ensure supply chain continuity.
• Monitor obsolescence inventory and minimize obsolescence.
• Support PFEP and Material Classification programs.
• Identify opportunities for process improvements and create/update standard work.
