Job summary

Bechtel is offering a U.S. Summer Internship Program for Engineering Automation Interns, a structured 10-week experience that runs mid-June to mid-August and exposes you to multidisciplinary teams across Mechanical, Electrical, and Control Systems disciplines.

You will contribute to real project work and develop professional skills while networking with leaders. Applicants must be enrolled in a BS in Civil/Structural, Mechanical, Computer Science or IT and be willing to relocate or travel

Qualifications

Currently enrolled in a four-year BS degree in Civil/Structural Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Computer Science or IT at an accredited college or university.
Completed at least one year of undergraduate studies.
Eligible to work in the US without visa sponsorship, now or in the future.
Willing to relocate and/or travel to domestic and/or international project sites.
Able to pass pre-employment drug screen and background check.

Responsibilities

Assists with setting up, installing, supporting, configuring, and implementing automation software tools.
Investigates and resolves problems and provides information about the software and systems to users.
Customizes applications, prepares user guides, and delivers training materials.
Develops work plans to accomplish assigned tasks within budgets and schedules.
