State of Colorado's CDOT is seeking an Engineering Assistant II for the Sterling region. The incumbent will support the work unit supervisor in construction, preconstruction, and materials testing for transportation projects, including surveying, design review, and testing materials.

Role involves preparing reports, collecting field data, and ensuring compliance with plans. After training, a hybrid schedule with field and office work is possible, with travel across Colorado as required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• One year of full-time experience in construction, inspection, or documentation.

Responsibilities

• Assist with execution of physical tests on materials per plans and specs.
• Document test results and prepare project records for the Project Engineer.
• Enter test results into ATSER and maintain field logs for QA.
