Job summary

Twenty-Six Defense Maritime in the United States seeks an Engineering Applications Lead to partner with Engineering and IT, aligning application capabilities with business goals and owning the Engineering applications roadmap.

The role collaborates with Engineering leadership, DevOps, administrators, developers, Infrastructure, and Security to ensure reliable, secure, and integrated applications across the portfolio.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or related field.
• Five or more years of experience supporting enterprise or engineering applications and DevOps environments.
• Experience partnering with stakeholders to gather requirements and deliver technology solutions.
• Experience leading or coordinating cross‑functional technology initiatives.
• Knowledge of enterprise application architecture, databases, APIs, integrations, authentication and lifecycle management.
• Strong analytical and written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple initiatives across a diverse application portfolio.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary IT Applications liaison and strategic partner for the Engineering organization.
• Own the Engineering application portfolio and maintain understanding of capabilities, dependencies, and lifecycle.
• Develop and maintain an Engineering applications roadmap aligned with priorities.
• Coordinate requirements validation, testing, UAT, release planning, deployment and stakeholder communication.
• Coordinate vendor relationships, support, and licensing for Engineering applications.
• Partner with Engineering DevOps to support toolchains, repositories, and integration needs.
• Ensure security, hosting, and data protection controls with Infrastructure and Information Security.
