The role emphasizes requirements analysis, scheduling, risk control, and cross‑functional leadership across engineering disciplines, with opportunities to shape product development and sustainment efforts in a dynamic defense environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering or related field with 5+ years of project engineering and systems engineering experience.
• Working knowledge of engineering processes for systems, electrical or mechanical domains.
• Proficient with MS Office and project tools; familiar with Visio and DOORS.
• PMI/PMBOK or PMP exposure is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain engineering project plans for new product development or sustainment.
• Perform requirements management and allocations across programs.
• Establish timelines and budgets; secure buy‑in from management.
• Lead cross‑functional teams and communicate progress to stakeholders.
• Conduct system architecture design reviews and integration tasks.
• Support verification and validation activities and follow SE procedures.
• Identify risks, develop recovery plans, and manage action items.
