Job summary

Twenty-Six Defense in Merrimack, NH is seeking a Project Engineer to lead the technical management of programs from requirements to validation. You will plan, schedule, and manage the engineering content for new product development and sustaining upgrades, coordinating with the PMO and engineering teams to meet schedule and cost constraints.

The role requires a Bachelor's degree in engineering and at least five years of Systems Engineering or Project Engineering experience; familiarity with

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or equivalent with 5+ years of project engineering management and systems engineering experience.
• Working knowledge of systems engineering, electrical or mechanical engineering processes.
• Proficiency with MS Office incl. MS Project and Visio.
• Experience with systems engineering tools such as DOORS or similar relational databases.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain Engineering project plans on assigned Programs.
• Perform requirements management using tools such as DOORS.
• Establish timelines, budgets/estimates and secure support from management.
• Conceptualize and oversee systems level architecture design.
• Lead cross-functional teams and communicate status to stakeholders.
• Identify roadblocks and implement recovery plans for schedule risks.
• Conduct project reviews and present plans to senior management.
