The City of Portland Bureau of Environmental Services (BES) is seeking an Engineering Analyst to perform critical functions in support of an engineering division, including leading the development and implementation of programmatic and project initiatives and planning, developing and maintaining software tools and databases, supporting standards and practices, performing data analysis, assisting in staffing, resource, and procurement planning, as well as providing general support on division specific projects as assigned.
The position is responsible for developing division tools and processes, producing reports, troubleshooting, and providing training related to resources on a wide variety of capital improvement projects in the City of Portland’s Bureau of Environmental Services’ (BES) Sewer, Stormwater & Restoration Division in the Engineering Services Group. BES manages a capital budget that averages approximately $200 million annually. The position works collaboratively with other work units to review processes analyze data and metrics, develop tools, troubleshoot, and provide recommendations.

Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university in management, finance, accounting, business administration, public administration, engineering, or a related field.
Four (4) years of professional and responsible experience performing analytical or related work.
