Job summary

Lockheed Martin in Fort Worth, TX invites an Engineering Aide to support the Sensor Fusion team by delivering technical assistance to engineers and management, ensuring data integrity and clear documentation.

You will gather and format technical data, produce reports, drawings, flow charts, and schematics; perform analyses and tests, and contribute to engineering evaluations while working with cross-functional teams in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

  • Associate’s degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Mathematics, Aerospace Engineering or related field or equivalent experience.
  • Strong problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • Experience with scripting (eg: bash/shell/python) for process automation.
  • Experience with Unit Testing or Integration Testing to verify code quality and requirements.

You will be the Engineering Aide for the Sensor Fusion team which is responsible for supporting engineering initiatives and ensuring data integrity.

What You Will Be Doing

As the Engineering Aide you will be responsible for providing technical support to engineers and management on a variety of tasks, ensuring data integrity and producing clear engineering documentation.

Your Responsibilities Will Include
  • Gathering, maintaining, formatting, and compilation of technical data, including test results and design changes.
  • Producing engineering documentation such as reports, drawings, flow charts, block diagrams, and schematics.
  • Developing analyses, documentation, and reports.
  • Conducting tests, recording data, and assisting with engineering evaluations as needed.
  • Providing engineering support tasks such as expensing, data transfer agent, developing status reports for management, scrum master roles, and project management.

This position is in Fort Worth, TX Discover Fort Worth.

MUST BE A U.S. CITIZEN – This position is located at a facility that requiresspecial access. The selected candidate must possess an active Secretclearance to start.

Provides technical support to engineers on a variety of technical tasks. Gathers, maintains, formats, compiles, and manipulates technical data, such as laboratory or material test results and engineering design changes. Produces engineering documentation, reports, drawings (flow charts, block diagrams, and schematics). Performs detailed mathematical calculations using established formulas; preliminary analyses of data where guidelines are provided in such areas as trajectory adequacy, model dimensional consistency; and quantitative judgments concerning technical data. Uses personal computer in performance of analyses and development of documentation/reports. May conduct tests and record data to assist with engineering evaluation or analysis.

Basic Qualifications
  • Associate’s degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Mathematics, Aerospace Engineering or a related field or equivalent experience
  • Strong problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams
  • Experience with scripting (eg: bash/shell/python) for process automation
  • Experience with Unit Testing or Integration Testing to verify code quality and requirements
Desired Skills
  • Strong vocal/written skills
  • Demonstrated understanding of the AGILE process, experience with KANBAN or product management
  • Experience with modern C++ and embedded software development
  • Experience with GITLAB CI, Jenkins, or Azure and/or the management of infrastructure (Ansible)
  • Real Time Operating System (RTOS) experience – (Windows & Linux)
Pay Information

Full-Time Salary Range: $41900.00 - $77700.00
