Midway Products Group, INC is seeking an accounting professional to manage the financial accounting functions for Engineering. The role involves preparing monthly and year-end tooling cost reports and ensuring timely payment of tooling payables.

You will create and review tooling AR, update pricing against purchase orders, and collaborate with Sales and Engineering to resolve open items and discrepancies. A Bachelor’s in Accounting or equivalent and at least three years’ experience are preferred.

Description

POSITION SUMMARY

• Responsible for the financial accounting functions of Engineering.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS

• Prepare and analyze monthly and year end tooling cards and reports
• Review, analysis and payment of tooling payables
• Create and review tooling accounts receivable
• Review and update part/piece price listing to agree with current purchase orders
• Responsible for updating ATPs
• Further establish procedures to accumulate necessary engineering changes
• Prepare LTA reduction analysis and spreadsheets for timely submission in All Numbers and AS400
• Work closely with accounts receivable assistants to identify and troubleshoot accounts receivable issues and forward results to the appropriate person(s) for resolution
• Initiate, recommend or provide solutions through designated channels
• Create and maintain project cost spreadsheets, tooling PO and invoice databases
• Input AS400 pricing for production and service
• Prepare tooling and production piece price open items list
• Work with Sales Dept. and Engineering Dept. to resolve open items
• Track customer tool orders and PSW dates to invoice tooling
• Create and maintain "red files"
• Work with Quoting (Engineering Dept.) and Sales Dept. to clarify RFQ/ATP discrepancies
• Create and maintain All Numbers files, work order numbers from ATPs update and crosscheck with customer tool orders, PSW dates
• Prepare the monthly accounts receivable reports for Corporate MOS
• Perform other essential functions, as assigned

JOB QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS

• Bachelors Degree in Accounting preferred or the equivalent experience
• A minimum of three years experience in accounting
