Job summary

Pye-Barker Fire & Safety is seeking an Engineered Systems Sales Representative to sell specialized fire alarm and special hazards systems. The role focuses on growing sales by developing and maintaining customer relationships within assigned markets and travel as needed.

Required knowledge of NICET-certified Special Hazards and Fire Alarm systems, plus a Bachelor’s in marketing/sales or equivalent experience. Base pay is $70k–$90k with uncapped commissions and strong benefits.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in marketing, sales, business, or related field, or at least five years of relevant sales experience.

Responsibilities

• Identify new sales leads by building a network of sources focused on customers with safety needs.
• Communicate with customers to understand product or service needs and recommend appropriate fire safety systems.
• Demonstrate system functions and benefits based on client requirements.
• Provide ongoing support through communication and relationship management; address post-sale concerns.
• Document sales activities, including calls, orders, and issues affecting client relationships; supply territory forecasts.
