Entergy is seeking an engineer to design and support power distribution, performing planning, maintenance, and design tasks for routine and emergency restoration. The role covers grid design, asset management, reliability, and safety, requiring strong analytical skills and effective communication with field teams.
You will evaluate load flows, coordinate circuits, and develop settings for field equipment while ensuring compliance with electrical codes and Entergy standards.
Responsible for engineering design and support for power distribution. Performs a wide variety of planning, maintenance, and design engineering activities related to routine, non‑routine, and emergency restoration duties. Project areas may include grid/system design, operations and maintenance, planning, asset management, reliability, computer applications, safety, and root cause failure analysis.
Must be available for 24‑hour call‑out and extended hours as necessary. Employees may be required to work additional hours, in alternate locations, or perform extra duties during storms, outages, emergencies, or other situations. Exempt employees may not be paid overtime for such duties.
