Job summary

Horner & Shifrin, Inc. is seeking an entry-level Civil Engineer to join our Transportation team in Missouri.

This full-time position requires 0–2 years of experience and will work under a licensed engineer on municipal, county and state transportation projects. You will develop PS&E, prepare 3D design models for construction, assist with reports and feasibility studies, and contribute to the timely completion of assigned tasks.

Qualifications

  • Engineer in Training certificate preferred.
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office software (Outlook, Excel, Word).
  • Knowledge of MicroStation and PowerGeopak SS4/OpenRoads Designer, or AutoCAD Civil 3D (preferred).
  • Must possess a valid driver’s license.
  • Must complete a background check.

Responsibilities

SALARY RANGE:

Horner & Shifrin, Inc. offers a comprehensive total rewards package and is committed to fair, competitive, market-based compensation. The target salary range for this position is $65,000 - $91,000. Compensation for the successful candidate will consider the candidate’s particular combination of knowledge, skills, competencies, experience, and geographic location.
