Job summary

Okuma America Corporation seeks an Integrated Business Planner, Capital Equipment to align customer demand, distributor commitments, and factory capacity for on-time delivery of machine tool portfolios.

You will partner with Sales, Distributors, Supply Chain, Engineering and Manufacturing to translate forecasts into actionable production plans, manage build schedules, and monitor performance to continuously improve planning processes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related field is required.
• 4–6 years of experience in production planning, scheduling, supply chain, or operations.
• Experience supporting S&OP/IBP processes preferred.
• Strong capacity planning, order management, forecasting, and long lead-time manufacturing understanding.
• Experience with capital equipment or engineered-to-order environments preferred.
• BI platforms and data analytics tools experience preferred.
• APICS/ASCM certification (CPIM/CSCP) preferred.

Responsibilities

• Partner with Sales, Distributors, and Operations to balance demand with production capacity.
• Translate forecasts, orders, and market opportunities into actionable production plans (S&OP/IBP).
• Develop and maintain machine build schedules optimizing capacity and on-time delivery.
• Coordinate with Supply Chain and Engineering to support planned production schedules.
• Monitor schedule performance and adjust plans as business conditions evolve.
