Job summary

Thompson/Center Arms: America's Master Gunmaker is seeking a Production Planner to create and maintain production schedules that meet customer demand while optimizing inventory and capacity. You will work with Purchasing, Manufacturing, Engineering, Sales, and Customer Service to ensure materials availability and timely order delivery.

The ideal candidate has production planning experience in manufacturing, strong ERP knowledge, and a data-driven approach to continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in a related field.
• 3+ years of production planning, scheduling, or manufacturing operations experience.
• Experience with ERP/MRP systems (NetSuite preferred).
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Excel.
• Strong organizational and communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a dynamic manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain daily, weekly, and monthly production schedules.
• Balance customer demand, inventory levels, labor, and capacity.
• Release and prioritize manufacturing work orders.
• Monitor production progress and adjust schedules as priorities change.
• Coordinate production activities across machining, assembly, finishing, and shipping.
